Through the MassDOT Shared Streets and Spaces grant program, the Town of Merrimac worked with Neighborways to install an asphalt mural at Sweetsir Elementary School. Neighborways Director of Art and Graphic Design, Liz LaManche developed three educational nature themed design renderings for feedback from teachers.
Sweetsir School Staff and kids alike love how the mural brightens the school, draws attention to the playground near the street, and inspires learning and fun.

Our process
This project was done swiftly and efficiently on a limited budget. The final design was implemented over the course of one sunny fall day with three Neighborways staff.
