Neighborways is a transportation planning and design firm specializing in street safety, bicycle-pedestrian facilities, public art, and community-based-planning.

Our vision is to build networks of slow, welcoming streets inviting to everyone; places that prioritize people young and old walking
and biking.

We create and strengthen community partnerships, friendships, and leverage local creativity and resources. We invest time, energy, and expertise to design vibrant destinations, celebrate local people, and reflect community values.

Streets for People

Many cities use strategies to encourage street play, create choices for how we move and connect in our communities. Slowing car speeds improves safety for everyone. We help communities build streets for people by:

  • Slowing traffic speeds to support safety for all

  • Creating high comfort, low-stress connected walking and biking networks for every age and body

  • Building community and capacity

  • Getting creative with public art
